Zhongshan: Zimaling Park
Zimaling Park is the largest country park in Guangdong Province. Located on the southern side of Zhongshan Third Road, it is a park that are known for its fresh air and beautiful scenery.
If the weather is good, from the "Lansheng Pavilion" in the park, you can see the panoramic view of whole City.
Every year from April to May, the Redflower Loropetalum in Zimaling Park enters its peak flowering period.
Entering from the north or west gates of the park, you can see large stretches of the Redflower Loropetalum in full bloom, boasting hues of pink, pink-purple, and a touch of berry red, dazzling under the sunlight and offering a flower spectacle exclusively in Spring.
Redflower Loropetalum is an evergreen shrub mainly growing in areas south of the Yangtze River. It is a common ornamental plant in gardens.
The warm and humid climate of Zhongshan is very suitable for the growth of redflower loropetalum.
In addition, the Zimaling Zoo in Zimaling Park is also one of the popular attractions. It houses over 30 species and about 1,800 animals and can be seen in a short distance.
There is also a Xiangshan Study in Zimaling Park called Zimaling Xiangshan Study. It is the mixture of Chinese and Western architectural styles, white colour in the building, simple and elegant.

Zhongshan: Xijiang Huazhou Park
If you want to see flowers alongside the sea, Xijiang Huazhou Park is the perfect place to go.
It is located at Zhongshun Dawei West Embankment of Henglan Town in Zhongshan.
The 3.7-kilometre-long ecological corridor is built along the Xijiang River, which cover an area of 37 acres flower sea, and there you can see different seasonal flowers from 9 provinces including Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, and Shenzhen all year round.
Starting from March, the bougainvillea are blooming, with red, purple, and white-coloured flowers. The Xijiang river nutriture the flowers in such a good way and make it blooms greatly.
Visitors can not only see flowers but also walking along the river. The view there is excellent.
Xijiang Huazhou Park also has large green areas for talking a walk, having a picnic as well as flying a kite, which is a very relaxing place to go.

Zhuhai: Hengqin Flower Corridor
On Qin'hai North Road in Hengqin New District, Zhuhai, there is a place called "Hengqin Flower Corridor", which is also a great spot for viewing flower and the sea.
The corridor covers an area of about 836,000 square meters and stretches about 13.6 kilometres. It is divided into five stations, and end at the Mangzhou Wetland Park.
The architectural styles of the five sections are unique, which planted different flowers such as bougainvillea, snapdragons, cherry kapok (Ceiba speciosa) and cotton trees, forming a vast flower sea which are stunning.
If you want to capture a large area of flower sea, you should head to Station 1. There, you can see a bougainvillea garden covering about 5,000 square meters.
During the bougainvillea flowering period from March to May, the scenery is filled with vibrant colours and is very beautiful. The garden also facilitates many landscape arrangements, arched flower corridors, and observation towers, perfect for taking photos.
In addition, it has bike paths, rest areas, and walkways, making it a great place to admire flowers and have fun.

Zhuhai: Xiangshan Lake Park
Combining natural ecology, urban landscape, and entertainment, Xiangshan Lake Park is a place where you can a sea of colourful flowers in every Spring.
In the Xiangshan Lake Park Phrase II, golden yellow trumpet trees bloom along the paths, looking like patches of yellow clouds from above, which is very pleasing.
On both sides of the lakeside road in the first phase and along the trails in the second phase of Xiangshan Lake Park, there are thousands of pink bauhinias.
The pink flowers adorn the branches, interweaving with the tender green leaves, adding a touch of gentleness to the road. As the spring breeze blows, a faint fragrance fills the air, making it especially pleasant.
The three interconnected lakes in Xiangshan Lake Park (Xiangshan Lake, Swan Lake, Jingshan Lake), with winding lakeside paths through lush forests, evergreen vegetation, and rippling lake water, form a great view of natural landscape.
