The seven-day Hong Kong Book Fair 2023 concluded successfully, with OHKF participating for the third time. Publications and interactive learning experiences continued to be warmly received.
The Hong Kong Book Fair 2023 has come to a successful conclusion! Our Hong Kong Foundation has participated in the event for the third time this year.
This time the Foundation comes with the theme of "From the Silk Road to the Belt and Road". The booth is split into two zones, introducing to the public the development journey from the ancient Silk Road to the Belt and Road. The response was highly positive once again.
Our Hong Kong Foundation launched a brand new book "From the Silk Road to the Belt and Road" (two volumes) at the 2023 Book Fair, in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. It tells the stories of the ancient Silk Road over two thousand years and the Belt and Road's major events over the past 10 years. The new book received great reviews from many book lovers at the event, with over 700 sets sold.
This year's booth continued the popular quiz game from last year, which remained as popular as ever, hosting a total of 151 prize-winning quiz games during the book fair, with a participation of over four thousand people.
The interactive game of capsule toy had over ten thousand participants, with over ten thousand panda-themed souvenirs given out.
A large LED screen and a television were set up on the booth, repeatedly playing short information videos presented by the Foundation, as well as videos about the "Silk Road" and "Belt and Road", to let more visitors understand China's development.
Many citizens who visited the booth expressed support for the Foundation's new book sales at the booth, and agreed with the Foundation's mission to actively promote citizens' knowledge of China's historical culture and today's development.
