Kung Fu legend Bruce Lee suddenly passed away

On July 20, 1973, the legendary kung fu star Bruce Lee (李小龍) suddenly passed away at the age of 32.

Bruce Lee was found unconscious at the home of actress Betty Ting Pei in Hong Kong's Kowloon Tong, and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

In September of the same year, the coroner's court unanimously ruled that Bruce Lee's death was by misadventure, with the cause being cerebral edema, possibly due to a hypersensitivity reaction to painkillers.

Bruce Lee, born Lee Jun-fan (李振藩), was born in San Francisco, California, U.S. He was a martial artist, martial arts actor, producer, and the founder of Jeet Kune Do (截拳道).

In his childhood, Bruce Lee lived in Hong Kong, where he gained multiple film acting experiences.

As an adult, Bruce Lee returned to the United States for his studies, diligently practicing martial arts while establishing the Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute to teach his skills.

In the 1970s, Bruce Lee was invited to return to Hong Kong to shoot films.

His first work, The Big Boss, amazed audiences and set the highest box office record since the opening of the city, reaching 3 million Hong Kong dollars.

Before his death, Bruce Lee made a total of five films, with his final work, Game of Death, being an incomplete legacy.
